And, there are a number of support groups that you can join in your city or state that will give you a safe environment to voice all your feelings about living with cancer or being in remission. Some breast cancer patients may be angry or sad months or years after the initial diagnosis, and knowing that there are other people that share their pain will provide encouragement and strength. Keeping a journal has also proven to be beneficial for some patients, since it gives them the opportunity to take time and sort through feelings of loss due to breast removal surgery or chemotherapy.
